Since summer 2016 the main objectives of the projects are:
- seeking more funds to work on the restoration, especially professional cleaning of the site from toxic materials
- further the oral history archive and historic research
- collaborate with similar oriented projects, preferably local
- seeking means to start an arts and crafts workshop program
The team has also been involved in kindred activities (two Standing Rock fundraisers in the Bay Area in 2016-2017) and has presented the project, its mission, and its philosophy at several occasions, including at the annual social practice art conference 2017 Open Engagement in Chicago.
